A Legacy for the People Who Love You Most.
Your story, preserved for the people who love you most.
We create living portraits that capture not only the events of a life, but the humor, wisdom, and small moments that shaped it.
Many families choose to give this experience to a parent or grandparent — a chance to preserve their voice and stories while they’re still here to tell them.
Many families begin with a Life Story Interview as a gift for a parent or grandparent.
If you're thinking about preserving a parent or grandparent’s story, you're not alone.
Most families begin with a simple conversation — a filmed Life Story Interview that captures their voice, memories, and the moments that shaped their life.
If you’d like to learn how the process works, you’re welcome to reach out.
The best time to share your story is while you’re still living it.
Most families realize too late that the stories disappear with the person.
After someone dies, we often find ourselves wishing we had asked more questions — about their childhood, the struggles they overcame, how they met their partner, or what shaped the life they lived.
In My Life exists to record those conversations while there is still time.
A Life Portrait is simply a thoughtful, guided conversation about a person’s life — filmed with care and preserved for the people who will one day wish they could sit with them again.
Many families discover that the interview itself becomes one of their most treasured keepsakes.
The film is something they share.
The conversation is something they keep.
A space for reflection.
Forget the pressure of "being on camera" or the need for a script. Our process is designed to feel like a meaningful afternoon of reflection.
A Familiar Setting: We film in a calm environment where you feel most at home.
An Unhurried Pace: There is no clock-watching. We move at the speed of your story, allowing for pauses, presence, and sincerity.
Guided Discovery: You aren't "interviewed"—you are guided through a conversation by a filmmaker who respects the weight of your history.
The result is a film that feels like you. No stage fright, no pressure—just the truth of your experience.
What We Talk About
We don’t just talk about what happened. We talk about what it meant. Below are examples of the questions we’d be discussing.
What do you know about your family’s heritage or ancestry?
What values or beliefs did your parents emphasize during your upbringing?
Was there a time when you stood up for something you believed in? What did it teach you?
Can you recall a turning point in your early adulthood that made you rethink who you wanted to be?
What surprised you the most about becoming a parent?
What accomplishments in your life bring you the greatest pride?
Was there ever a turning point that dramatically altered your perspective?
What wisdom or message would you like your loved ones to remember most clearly about you?
A treasure that grows in value every year.
"What Jhovany gave us is truly priceless. It’s a treasure that lets us hear my father’s voice and laughter whenever we miss him. It has brought us comfort, healing, and a lasting connection to the man we love."

If this feels like the right time, let’s talk.
Many families reach out simply because they don’t want the stories to disappear.
We’ll talk through who the film is for, what you’d like to preserve, and whether this feels like the right fit for your family.
There’s no pressure to decide anything right away.
A short conversation is usually the best place to begin.
