Founder, In My Life StudiosThe idea for In My Life Studios didn’t begin as a business. It began with a realization.
After my grandmother passed away, I found myself wishing I had sat down with her and recorded a conversation about her life. The stories, the memories, the small details about who she was — so much of it existed only in passing conversations that were never preserved.
Years later, when my mother passed away suddenly in 2025, that feeling deepened. I had spent nearly a decade interviewing people across the country as part of storytelling projects for rescue missions, yet I had never filmed a life interview with my own mother. Like many families, I assumed there would always be more time.
That experience stayed with me. It made me realize how easily the voices and stories of the people we love can disappear if we don’t intentionally preserve them.
In My Life Studios exists to create a space where those conversations can happen while there is still time — to preserve voice, memory, and meaning on film so future generations can understand not only where they come from, but who they come from.
Before starting In My Life Studios, I spent nearly a decade interviewing individuals across the country, documenting stories of resilience, hardship, and transformation. That experience taught me that every life holds a story worth preserving — not just the extraordinary moments, but the everyday wisdom, the laughter, and the lessons that shape who we are.
This work is ultimately about making sure those stories remain.
